I have been waiting for a long time and my application is still pending. Can I make another application?

The applicant cannot submit another application while the first is still in process

If my application was rejected, will I be able to know the reason why?

Your application, if rejected for a reason, will display the reason for your rejection under your dashboard. In certain cases a reason may not be provided. Please note that entry visa approval or rejection is granted at the discretion of the Authorities.

If I choose to book a hotel as my accommodation, does it have to cover the entire duration of my stay?

Yes, your booking should cover the whole duration of your stay based on your ticket booking, if you decide to extend your stay, you should rebook or find an alternative accomodation. 

What are the minimum requirements to enter the State of Qatar with Hayya?
  •  Minimum three (3) months of passport validity from the time of arrival to the State of Qatar
  • – Accommodation (Address in Qatar, booking, hosted by family and friends or Discover Qatar)*
  • – Return flight ticket
  • – Hayya Entry Visa
  • – Health insurance covering the duration of stay

Am I eligible to register for Hayya?

a)    New applicants can apply for any of the newly available Hayya Visit types:
–    Tourist Entry Visa
–    Entry Visa with ETA 
–    GCC Resident Entry Visa 
–    Entry Visa for Companion of GCC National

Please check eligibility per Hayya Visit type.

b)    If you already possess an approved Hayya from the FIFA World Cup 2022, you can return to Qatar with your extended entry permit without any additional action required on the Hayya platform. However, please check the minimum entry requirements for Qatar and ensure that you update your passport details on Hayya if necessary.

What is the fee for Hayya Entry Visa? And what is the refund policy?

Fees for issuing the visa may be charged (except for Hayya with Me). The Entry Visa fees start from CHF 90. They must be paid once your application moves into the Pending Payment phase. The fees are non-refundable regardless of your travel status or arrangements.

What are the requirements to apply for an Visa with ETA ?
  • – A valid visa or residency for the US, UK, Canada, Schengen, Australia, or New Zealand at the time of application
  • – Minimum three (3) months of passport validity from the time of arrival to the State of Qatar
  • – Accommodation proof (Hotel booking* or Hosted by family and friends)
  • – Return flight ticket
  • – Health insurance for the duration of your stay

*In certain cases, you might only be eligible for a booked accommodation via Discover Qatar
